Victoria Day Weekend is the perfect start to the summer.  There are quite a few amazing family friendly events that will help to shake off this rainy weather and welcome the beautiful summer season!  We wanted to highlight some of our favourites!

  Canada 150 Staycation Opening Day

Canada turning the BIG 1-5-0 is kind of a BIG DEAL!  Join us on the beach to celebrate the return of Summer Staycation season!!  Blue skies, soft sand, gentle lapping water and SO MANY ways to have fun on the lake and water.  All rentals will be available and there will also be awesome events and classes you can register for.  In honor of #Canada150 we are offering $15.0/hr on ALL RENTALS!  Includes: paddle boats, stand up paddleboards, kayaks and inflatables!   Springtime On The Farm

Celebrate spring the historical way on this Victoria Day weekend!  Experience historical demonstrations, hands-on activities, Victorian games, farm animals, and more! Enjoy a full day of fun at the park by packing a picnic lunch and taking a morning walk along the Trillium Trail to see the spring wildflowers. Children 10 and under will not want to leave the park without a visit to the Children’s Farm and Playbarn.  No additional costs other than regular park admission fee.  Click for more info

  Victorian Tea Party

Come to Spruce Lane for an afternoon Victorian Tea Party! Tea and cake will be served the way they were more than 100 years ago (they promise the cake is not 100 years old!).  They are also on the chocolate trail, so you can be sure some chocolate treats will be included!   Victoria Day Fireworks

This might be our favourite event of the weekend!  Kaboom! Fireworks happen at dusk but food trucks will be at the park starting at 6 p.m.  Snacks, soft drinks and glow sticks are available for purchase before the fireworks begin.
